Hi, everyone ! I am new to this site and thus maybe not too well equipped for posting any link to one of my soundfiles, but I thought it would not hurt anyone if I tried ?:) This link is to a song I wrote and recorded together with some buddies of mine back in 1992. It is a song about my dear wife Beni who bravely fought an incurable cancer for over four years but that subdued her in the end ! She passed away in 2011 ! I had the privilege to get to marry my first love and we were given almost 42 wonderful years together. I look forward to meet her in the afterlife,though, and that is why I will stay true to her for the rest of my life ! She ment everything to me and it took me over a year just to be able to pick up my guitar again ! This tune was performed during lighter times before she got ill. My memory is not what it has been,
but the strings are played by the
artistic leader of the BBC - Orchestra,
I just cannot recall his name any more
Forgive an old fool for that !:)
If you refer to the vocal harmonies, they
were more or less improvised in the studio !:)
