I have a very simple alternate ending. I have a one bar intro, followed by a 32 bar chorus (bars 2-33) and this repeats 3 times. However on the 3rd repeat I do not want bar 33 to play.
How do I accomplish this?
Also for some reason after inserting bar 33 the volume drops noticeably just for this bar and I can figure out why? I didn't change any settings, just added a bar.

You can set Edit-Song Settings - Song Ends 2 bars early. Then, instead of playing the last 2 bars, it will jump to the bar following the ending, and play a 2 bar ending (which is a 2 bar ending, with a held chord sustaining to make the whole thing 4 bars)

But I only want it to not play the last bar on the 3rd repeat, not the last two bars. And I don't want a generated ending. On the 3rd repeat I just want the song to end on bar 32.
Also any idea what would cause the volume to drop in half on bar 33? Some setting I should be looking at? I haven't seen anything obvious.

You can choose edit unfold, and then it will be 1 bug chorus, and you can end it on any bar. Make sure that you haven't chosen a fade in the song settings, that would account for a fall in volume at the end.

No I have never selected fade and it is not set. I've tried deleting the bar and adding it back in, I restored the bar settings, the volume still drops by half in that one bar.
I was familiar with unfold, but I was hoping to do it without having to expand the song like that. It seems like it would be a common requirement to have an alternate ending for the last chorus.

Duplicate bar 32 to bar 34; then create a tag ending to jump after bar 31 to bar 34 and end at bar 34. Be sure to uncheck the option for a 2-bar ending.

Thank you. That was what I needed although I didn't have to duplicate any bars. I simply created a tag ending to jump to bar 34 after 32, and then I muted bar 34 since what I want is simply for the song to end after 32.
I still have the issue with bar 33 playing at half volume for some reason. Also for some reason bar 33 is elongated in the melody window. Normally 4 bars display across the melody window but bar 33 is stretched out and takes up the entire window.
Ok I "solved" the bar 33 issue. I exported the song to a WAV file and it played fine in the WAV file. And now it plays fine in BIAB. Exporting the song to a WAV file fixed the problem inside BIAB somehow. ???
