Hey all... been on the road for a bit but home for the weekend and think I've finally gotten this one to a place where it's reviewable... comments welcome.

Bush's Bolero

ALL RB, as follows;

RD Salsa Bolero Percussion
RT 1901 - Baby Bolero Bass
RT 1902 - Acoustic Guitar
RT 1903 - Rhythm Acoustic
RT 1904 - Acoustic Piano
RT 1905 - Melodic Piano
RT 1840 - Synth Pad, Pop
RT 1856 - Cello, Country

I wish I could get more orchestral strings out of RB... regardless I'm relatively pleased with the result.

Thanks for listening!

"I wish I could get more orchestral strings out of RB... regardless I'm relatively pleased with the result." - I do so agree with you, Don. The Biab Sampletank ones arent up to much.
However you have made good use of what we have and I like the soundfile.
The Lead acoustic maybe could do with being a little higher in the mix, but that is just my own preferences.
Well Done
cheers
Ian

Hi Don,

you shouldn't forget to mention your
own guitar playing.
That's what makes your song unique.

Nice tune, but I was taken by the unexpected and rather sudden ending. Good job never the less.

Hi Don,

I, too, enjoyed listening. It's a very restful and relaxing sound you have assembled.

Regards,
Noel

Thanks all. I may rework this a bit over the weekend if I can make the time. Yes, the ending is far too abrupt and the soloist needs to come up in the mix - exactly the kind of feedback I was hoping to get from this crew (THANKS).

BTW, if you can avoid it, never do New Orleans and Las Vegas back-to-back... I'm exhausted and STUFFED. ;-)

Cheers!

Hey all.

Quick question. Has anyone here licensed the Garritan Ultimate Collection? How, specifically do the Orchestral samples work with RB? Same as our regular collections?

Opinions?
