If you could provide a way to turn that off would be great! Annoying that it is continually popping up as I move my mouse across the screen.

I have to agree. I've never liked those preview popups. They are really annoying.
It could perhaps be Ok if there was a couple of seconds delay while you hover over a topic. That way you only get the peview if you really want it.

It seems to be working now. I've turned off the previews and removed the right column. Much better this way IMO.

I like the new popup view but I scroll up and down under replies or views so they don’t get in the way. If I want to see what the post is about then I move over to the subject/poster column.
When you are at the checkout line and they ask if you found everything say "Why, are you hiding stuff?"

I found the new format pretty cluttered -- but I turned off the right hand side and poof, back to almost normal. The shout box is sort of cool, but less the merrier I always say (have I ever really said that?). I am leaving the "topic preview" on for right now, but we shall see about that. It is nice to have choices.

No, don't lose them; make them optional (which they did). I like that you can see the question being asked, rather than just the subject line.
