I have found it impossible to correctly display eighth- and quarter-note triplets in a printed lead sheet when the song has a straight (4) feel. You can change the resolution for the bar that contains the triplets so that it sounds pretty close to the correct timing, but forget about having it print properly. Also, there is no way that I know of to input or print sixteenth-note triplets. I know that BIAB isn't a notation program, but it would be great to see it get that much closer to one.

Hi tenorman,
I have also found limitations with triplets and notation. Using the Piano Roll view for note entry, it's possible to input triplets for many note values. These will play correctly but they will not always be notated correctly.
When I need to print a lead sheet that it beyond BIAB's ability, I load the MGU file into MuseScore (this is a freeware program that read BIAB files with a reasonable level of accuracy). I then modify those bars that need correcting.

Thanks, Noel. I didn't want to spring for a notation program, so I will check out the shareware that you suggest. I have been a BIAB user for about 15 years and have been amazed at the progress, so it is hard to complain too much. To me, the notation is really the only weakness.

MuseScore is very intuitive once you get the hang of the basics. If you need some guidance, there are some great MuseScore tutorials on Youtube.
