Have any of you tried to customize the Band Button? I've been able to add an existing PGM style to 'RealCombos_User_Bottom.txt' but when I try to add my own custom styles it stubbornly refuses to display them.
The custom styles are there within the style picker in the 'Other Styles' catagory. They load and work for a song. However, nothing will get them to work in the Band Button.
Any ideas?

Paul, I haven't experimented with the Band button since beta testing. Just an idea, though:
I wonder if it requires a different field to be present in the description than the style picker does. In other words, Peter has on occasion given a sample of what the format of a user-created style's description needs to have, so are you sure yours have all those fields? Might be something to check, although if true, it probably should be standardized.
Or this could all be completely wrong, since I'm brainstorming.

After a discussion with PGM support I've found you cannot add user styles to the Band Button list UNLESS they are listed in the bbw.lst file. That is, you cannot use styles that are in the 'Other' catagory only.
As bbw.lst gets overwritten with new updates modifying that file is not a good idea. I do seem to recall there was a way to extend bbw.lst to put your own custom styles into catagories without them being overwritten. Does anyone remember this?

I looked it up in the 2013 Manual in the BB file. On page 134-136 it discusses adding new styles and the .LS3 file that contains them. This may be what you're looking for. ( I remembered it being discussed some time ago too.)
