Hi all... I'm new here, and bought BIAB a few few days ago. So far I have encounter a few problems.
1. When I want to insert a VST, sometimes I cannot insert because the insert area is just grayed out, and I don't understand why !
2. I tried the vocal harmonizer, and got up this message: Access violation at address 75846155 in module 'USER32.DLL' Read of address 4569636D at: 75846155

Welcome to the forum!
My first suggestion is to edit your post and make a second post here, so the first two problems are in a post of their own (I don't think they are related). The RealBand problem should be posted in the RealBand forum. For example, I use BIAB daily but not RealBand.
About the VST, could you please list the steps you are taking, and the results? Which VST? Or do you mean a VSTi (instrument)?
Is this BIAB version 2013? Can you tell us a little about your computer, especially what you are using as a sound card?
While we users may be able to help you, keep in mind you can always give PG Music Support a call. They are really excellent.

Hi Nesrally, Let me join in with Matt and welcome you to the forum  When I read you problems, a couple of questions sprang to mind that it would be handy to know the answers to because it will help give us a clearer idea of your setup. 1. What operation system do you have and how many bits is it? (For example: Windows 7 64 bit, Vista 32 bit) 2. When you installed BIAB, did you use the default paths of C:\bb for BIAB and C:\Realband for Realband or did you put them in another location? 3. What version of BIAB/RB do you have? Ah, yes... sorry for my noobish approach to the problem. I'm using BiaB 2013 on Windows 7, on a 32 bit system....installed biab in default folder. And yes, I actually meant VSTi..
Hehe, the funny thing is that when i open biab this morning to explain step by step what I was doing, actually accidentally discover the right way to do it ! Could not even recreate the way I was doing it to not make it work !
So now everything is just great !
Thank u guys ! Will edit my first post and mark it as solved, and transfer the realband problem to the right forum.....

But my 2. problem about the vocal harmonizer still persist. As I follow the guidance in Tutorial #14: Using the Audio Harmonies, Repeats/Endings and more, I still got the message: Access violation at address 75846155 in module 'USER32.DLL' Read of address 4569636D at: 75846155
Any idea?

Nesrally, I suspect it's due to Windows 7's User Account Control (UAC). You could verify this by going into Control Panel | Users, deactivating it and restarting BIAB. Sorry, could not find anything there about UAC, and also nothing about vocal harmonizer. Also did not understand what to deactivate in User Account Control. Could you specifie a little more ?

Hi Nesrally, If you click on the link above and wait until it's fully loaded, it should take you to Users' FAQ #100. There is nothing in the FAQ about TC Helicon, but there is information about what setting works for UAC (point #5). Hi Noel !
My UAC slider was already at the bottom, so it must be something else causing this error. But maybe, as suggested here, I should move this topic to another tread ?
BTW, I found out why I had that other problem with VSTi... Hehe, I did not realize I had to stop the song before inserting it.......
