Hi,

What is the proper or best way to Export 1 Or More MIDI Tracks if the MIDI file is to be imported into another DAW on another PC?

Environment: PTW 2010 is on my WinXP PC. Cubase 7 64-Bit is on my Win 7 64-Bit PC.

History: In PTW, I've tried both a Track Save and Save Scrap- both as .MID & not .SEQ. When I put the files onto my W7-64 PC and import them into Cubase 7, I get the track creation and playback but- I cannot see the data. Thus, I cannot edit/tweak it.

I've also, tried saving the MIDI track as both a MIDI Type 0, and an 'other' (I assume Type 1).

Any help or ideas is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
