I created a song on BIAB, recorded a live audio guitar part on it, saved it, shut down BIAB, opened up RB, opened up the song and tried to record a bass part on it. Have tried 3 times. Each time, I get "Access Violation @ Address 773A23BE in Module NTdll.dll.Read of Address 00000001 @ 773A23BE".
I've followed this procedure before , i.e. BIAB to RB recording with no problems.
Any ideas on what the issue is?
Thanks,
Ralph Anthony

Send that message to support using the link above ^^

That module and address may mean something to them, but not to most of us.

I notice it says the error doesn't appear to be reported from an RB module, but rather a Windows module. Beyond that I don't have a clue.

Have you tried re-opening the BiaB file in RB, after doing a reboot?

Thanks rharv,
I just sent my post to Support.
To answer your question, yes, I did do that; no luck.
When Support gets back to me, I'll post their suggestions.
Thanks again,

Hello rharv,
I heard back from the PG rep. He suggested to delete then reinstall my Line 6 UX2 drivers, which I did. It worked. Yesterday morning I record a bass part on my newest tune on RealBand.
Unfortunately, later last night, as I tried to playback the tune in RB, all I got was this LOUD, DISTORTED GARBLE , which began right from the count off.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
RA

Sample mismatch?

Check bitrate setting of RB compared to what you recorded at.

Do the waveforms 'look' normal in the Tracks view?

rharv,
Thanks again for your help.
The waveforms look normal to me.
Sorry for my ignorance, how do you check bitrate setting of RB compared to what I recorded at.
I searched Audio Drivers and did not see Bitrate.
Thanks again,
RA

In RB it's Options-Preferences-Audio-File Type
This may change for each song so load the song (seq file) before checking the bitrate in RB

As for what bitrate you recorded at, that is inside your soundcard settings, and it often has its own little app to adjust those settings there.

Under the advice of another PG Music rep. who assured me the problem was my audio drivers, I once again did an uninstall/install of my Line 6 UX2 Drivers, shut down RB and restarted my comp, opened RB and tried to play a tune—same problems. After about one hour, I tried it again and everything worked fine. Can’t really explain that and I guess I shouldn’t try.
Thanks again to all. Deeply appreciate your help.

Beginning to suspect conflicts like IRQ or something else running and interrupting your audio .. but only when that other process is running.

Problems that disappear and re-appear at random are very frustrating to figure out.
