Windows 7 Audiobox USB Ketron SD2 up to date BIAB
Hi
today I have lost all my sound nothing on BIAB, you tube has no sound, i have checked all my connections, ihave not downloaded any updates or added any new programs in the last 2 weeks,what should I check as I can`t find anything wrong

Only because no one else has yet replied...and forgive the silliness of this suggestion. But one of my keyboards has a sound mute key right next to the wi-fi key and I have accidentally muted my sound more than once when I intended to shut down the wi-fi.

I experienced loss of sound for more than one program at a time early in my experience with the AudioBox USB. For example, I could hear my DAW, but not youtube. A driver update was among the things that were tried. The problem was eventually solved, but I can't say for certain what caused it or what fixed it.
Make sure that the Windows mixer, or whatever utility might be included with your onboard sound card (not the AudioBox), aren't muted or at zero volume.
Presonus support is excellent, and they also have a very active user forum. I'd suggest trying that if you don't get any conclusive solution here.

You may know more than me but a basic step would be to plug in a set of headphones into your audio out replacing your audio out. If they work its a problem post the computer.
Other steps are go to control panel sound and check the settings. If not this, then there is the audio trouble shooter in control panel audio trouble shooters (rarely does much here). Failing all else remove the sound driver from control panel system and download it again.
As said above look for obvious errors like mute buttons set to on

Normally when I lose sound I will try something else such as youtube and if the sound is off there too, I look down to the bottom tool bar and yup..... the sound icon (real tiny) has a "muted" icon on it.......duhhhhhh
If that's not the issue, I reboot the machine.

Hi all
I have done the mute thing so many times that's the first thing I checked no egg this time so I decided to do a full scan as two days ago I had a message that Avast had saved my bacon and stopped an attack which would have done a load of mischief it took 12 hours and I had 51 contaminated files and when I restarted the computer the sound was back was I lucky or did I press the muted button when I slapped it so thanks for your help

Hi
one other thing I would like to ask when I load a tune and set it playing its fine but if I leave it to play a second time it goes out of tune stop it and restart its fine any ideas this is one of those fault that don`t really matter except when your playing along you have to restart each chorus
