was looking over the posting form but don't see a paperclip icon to include attachment. didn't see one in the mac forum either. is there no way to include an attachment when posting to the forum ?
hey tks 4 reply guitarman - not sure what u mean about a top tool bar. i have a posting form open and i see a toolbar - the first icon is a happy face, the second one is to create a link etc. if i look above that i see something else (but it doesn't look like a toolbar). it begins with forum list, latest topics, my stuff etc. if i look even further toward the top i see a bunch of flags of diff countries, about us, contact, etc. - but nowhere do i see a reply/post window. don't mean to appear dense but i'm just not seeing what you're seeing.
an afterthought - i found the toolbar you're referring to. 4th one from the left says i can enter an image. when i click on it and specify a non floating image, it wants a URL. the image i want to send is a screen shot on my computer - don't believe i can use this. is there a way i can include a file, photo, or screen shot ? really need some help her

Hi Fivestring. From the Forum FAQ's there are two options:
There are two ways you can add an image to your post.
1) Make the image available on a web server (e.g. web space provided by your ISP or an image hosting website) and reachable by a URL... ... 2) Include the image with your post as an attachment. To do this, click the File Manager link when you are replying to a post and select the image file. .GIF, .PNG, and .JPG are accepted. As long as the image is under 512 KB, it will be displayed inline - that is, in the body of your post. If it is larger than that but less than 1 MB, it will be available as a download.
You probably need option 2:
To take a screen capture of the currently focused Window , press Alt-Print Screen, then paste that into MS Paint or similar, then save (preferably as a JPG or PNG format). Note where you save it (which folder). You need to navigate to that folder when you click on the File Manager Link.

set up a free account with a photosharing site such as Photobucket dot com and load the photo's and screen shots to it. Then simply copy the pic's web site address.... there's an automatic button to copy that link in Photobucket and paste it into the window you saw.... click OK.....waa laa it's posted in the thread....
