Hello,
According to the manual for BiaB 2013 it should be possible to export RealTracks as MIDIs by keeping the Shift key depressed while dragging the file(s). Nevertheless, however, at least at this end BiaB still writes aiff files and exports them to my DAW (Logic Pro), no MIDI files are being created. Going via the .MID button or the MIDI export option in the menu doesn't help either: only BiaB MIDI tracks are being written as MIDIs, while RealTracks are simply ignored.
What am I missing here?

Hi Demo,
Realtracks are audio files and do not themselves contain any midi information. It is not possible to export audio as midi. Could you please let me know what it says in the manual?

Why not use a MIDI style if you want to export to MIDI anyway?

Noel Hi Noel, That's a bit difficult as I'm using the German version of BiaB 2013. However, it says something to the effect of "keep the shift key depressed while dragging to force RealTracks rather than MIDI". This is why I erroneously assumed the standard method of exporting files is MIDI. Thank you and best regards.

Why not use a MIDI style if you want to export to MIDI anyway?
Notes The reason why is fairly simple, because I want certain tracks to be RealTracks, but others I want in the MIDI format.
