When I drag and drop from the DAW plugin to a folder in windows explorer, all the instruments with exception to the drums export ok, but the drums have an extra "thump" at the beginning of the first lead-in count, and I have to use either Adobe Audition CS5.5 or Audacity to remove that first count along with the "thump" but to stop the other wavs from being out-of-sync, I also remove equal amounts from the beginning of each wav file, then I can use them in Cakewalk Sonar to record multiple midi tracks along with audio vocals (which BiaB can't do), then add some VST effects and when satisfied with the take, I export (mix down) the entire session to a wav file, which I then use Audacity to convert the wav to MP3.
How can I stop BiaB from creating that extra "thump" when drag and dropping the real-drums from DAW plugin to a folder?

Hi usalabs, Do you have the latest update for 2012? According to this link, the latest update is build 350. Your particular build will be found under the "Help" menu and then "About Band In A Box". http://www.pgmusic.com/support_windowsupdates.htmRegards, Noel. P.S. Try reducing the reverb on the drum track to zero and see if that helps. To do this, click on "Drums" (#1) and then set "A.Reverb" to zero. (Reverb can always be added in the DAW.)

Hi usalabs, Do you have the latest update for 2012? According to this link, the latest update is build 350. Your particular build will be found under the "Help" menu and then "About Band In A Box". http://www.pgmusic.com/support_windowsupdates.htmRegards, Noel. I checked the version and it's 2012(349) P.S. Try reducing the reverb on the drum track to zero and see if that helps. To do this, click on "Drums" (#1) and then set "A.Reverb" to zero. (Reverb can always be added in the DAW.) I tried that and I still get the "thump". ADDENDUM: I just updated to build 350 and still get the "thump".

Did you install the latest build? Yes, I had my last reply open on edit while I updated BiaB to build 350 and I still get the "thump"

Usalabs, Have you tried right-clicking on the Drum track (when the Realdrums are loaded) and selecting "Save Realdrums as WAV file" to see if that also produces the thump? This is an alternative to drag 'n' drop.  Regards, Noel

yay, using the drop down on the 'drums' and saving to wav worked, no "thump",,,,hmmmm, there could be a bug in the daw plugin.
It is futile to become lachrymose at the accidental disgorgement of lactic fluid.

This has happened to me infrequently, including with BIAB 2013, latest build. I get a loud drum noise at the very beginning of the two-bar count in after dragging the Combo to SONAR.
I just slide the beginning of the drum track to the right to eliminate the count in. If I wanted the count in, I would have to do a little editing because the drum noise takes a bit of time to decay.
Again, this noise does not occur every time.
