Hallo zusammen
Ich habe ein Stück (Gee Baby, ain't I good to you) eingegeben. Akkorde und Stil sind ok. Dann wollte ich noch die Melodie dazufügen.
Und damit komm ich nicht weiter. Zuerst habe ich mit dem Melodiker eine Melodiespur generiert. Das Programm macht dann irgendeine Melodie,
weil es ja nicht wissen kann, wie diese Melodie geht. Dann habe ich versucht mit der Funktion «Noten schrittweise bearbeiten» die vom Programm
generierte Melodie anzupassen. Aber das hat nicht funktioniert. Da werden für meine Begriffe zu abstrakte Zahlenwerte angegeben.
Dann habe ich alle Noten der Spur gelöscht und versucht die Noten manuell mit dem Cursor einzugeben. Aber auch das ist sehr mühsam.
Das Programm macht irgendwas nur nicht das was ich eigentlich will.
Weiss jemand wie man eine Melodie eingeben kann?

Die Eingabe ist in der Tat etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Wenn man aber das Konzept einmal verstanden hat, kommt man sehr schnell zu guten Ergebnissen.
Im Grunde wird im editierbaren Notationsmodus immer versucht den Takt "voll" zu machen. DH, wenn Sie auf die senkrechte Taktlinie des ersten Viertel klicken wird eine ganze Note erzeugt. Wenn Sie danach zB auf die Taktlinie des 3. Viertel klicken, erhalten Sie 2 halbe Noten.
Ich würde empfehlen das entsprechende Kapitel im Handbuch durchzuarbeiten, speziell die div. Kurztasten sind sehr hilfreich. (Kapitel 7 Notendarstellung und Druck)
Hier ein Auszug der Ihnen helfen könnte:
Editierbarer Notations-Modus
Mit einem einzigen Mausklick auf die Schaltfläche [N] kommen Sie vom Standard Notations-Fenster in den editierbaren Notendarstellungsmodus. Hier können Sie Noten und Pausen eingeben, verschieben und bearbeiten
– wie gewohnt mit Standardmaustechnik wie point & click, drag & drop und dem Rechtsklick, um die Dialogbox für die Notenbearbeitung zu öffnen.
Dies ist der Bildschirm für die schrittweise Eingabe einer Melodie oder die Bearbeitung vorhandenerer Spuren.
Beachten Sie das Gitter von vertikalen Linien, die jeden Schlag unterteilen. Diese Linien zeigen an, wo die Noten gemäß der gewählten Auflösung des Songs positioniert werden.
Wenn Sie in dieser Darstellung die Maus über eine Note bewegen, sehen Sie eine
Zusammenfassung der Noteneigenschaften.(Tonhöhe/Kanal//Velocity/Dauer).
Um diese Anzeige zu aktiveren, klicken sie auf den [Mehr.. ] Button in den Notations-Optionen.
Dort aktivieren Sie die Checkbox “Zeige Popup-Tipp für Noteneigenschaften”.
Auflösung
- Swing Styles verwenden 3 Linien, um jeden Schlag in Achtelnoten Swing Triolen zu unterteilen.
- Gerade Styles verwenden 4 Linien, um jeden Schlag in Sechzehntelnoten zu unterteilen.
Schlag-Auflösung
Die Auflösung kann für jeden Schlag im Dialog Taktschlag-Auflösung, der sich durch einen Rechtsklick auf die horizontale Zeitleiste (direkt unterhalb der Werkzeugleiste) öffnet, manuell eingestellt werden.
Um eine neue Note im Notensystem einzufügen, bewegen Sie die Maus an die gewünschte Stelle. Für Schlag 1 wählen Sie die erste punktierte Linie im Takt. Klicken Sie auf die Notenlinie oder den Zwischenraum, die der gewünschten Note entsprechen.
Bestätigungs-Dialog warnt vor um irrtümlicher Eingabe von doppelten Noten (gleiche Tonhöhe in ähnlichem Notenabstand) oder vor der Eingabe von sehr hohen bzw. sehr tiefen Noten (große Anzahl an Hilfslinien).
Die aktuelle Note wird in der Box links in der Werkzeugleiste angezeigt.
Klicken Sie mit der linken Maustaste, um die Note einzufügen:
- Um eine erhöhte Note einzufügen: Halten Sie die Umschalttaste gedrückt, während Sie die Note klicken.
- Um eine verminderte Note einzufügen: Halten Sie die Strg - Taste gedrückt, während Sie die Note klicken.
- Um eine Auflösung vor die nächste Note zu setzen: Halten Sie die Alt - Taste gedrückt, während Sie die Note klicken.
Von Klammern (#) umschlossene Vorzeichen werden nach einer Taktlinie als
Hilfestellung ausgegeben, da eigentlich kein Vorzeichen erforderlich wäre.
Wie wird die Länge der Noten bestimmt?
Band-in-a-Box verwendet eine intelligente automatische Funktion, um zu bestimmen, wie lange die Note wahrscheinlich sein sollte. Das heißt, Sie können eine Melodie mit nur einem Klick pro Note eingeben, was die Noteneingabe wesentlich beschleunigt.
Jede Note, die eingegeben wird, hat anfänglich eine Dauer von 2 Takten (2 ganze Noten). Wird die nächste Note 2 Schläge später gesetzt, wird Band-in-a-Box die Länge der vorhergehenden Note so anpassen, dass sie etwas kürzer als 2 Schläge ist. Somit müssen Sie sich um die Notendauer überhaupt keine Gedanken machen und können einfach zeigen und klicken (point & click), um Noten nach Ihren Vorstellungen einzugeben.
Wenn Sie die automatische Dauer überschreiben möchten, können Sie die Note mit der rechten Maustaste Tonart bearbeiten, was Ihnen ermöglicht, die genaue Notendauer wie gewünscht einzugeben.
Pausen eingeben
Fügen Sie eine Pause durch Halten der Taste [ö] und Klick auf das Notations-Fenster ein. Eine weitere Möglichkeit,
eine Pause einzugeben, ist Klick auf das Auswahlkästchen [Paus.] .und anschließendem Zeigen & Klicken, wohin die Pause gesetzt werden soll. Dies verkürzt automatisch die Dauer der vorherigen Note.
Tipp: Falls es wichtig ist, Pausen kleiner als eine Viertelnote anzuzeigen, stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie das Auswahlkästchen 'Pausen minimieren' im Dialogfeld Einstellungen im Notations-Fenster ( Opt. | Voreinstellungen | Notation ) deaktiviert haben.

Hallo Theo,
wenn ich eine Melodie hinzufüge, gehe ich fogendermaßen vor:
Mit einem Noten-Editor (z.B. Capella) schreibe Ich die Melodie und exportiere sie als Midi-Datei.
Dann importiere ich diese Midi-Datei in BiaB (Melody->Edit Melody-Track->Import Meloy from Midi-File).
Wenn ich Änderungen an der Melodie vornehme benutze ich den Piano-Roll-Editor. Dort kann man sehr elegant jede einzelne Note verändern. In den großen Programmen (Cubase, Cakewalk-Sonar) macht man das auch so.

With Band-in-a-Box® 2026, we've released 202 incredible new RealTracks (in sets 468-488) in a variety of genres—featuring your most requested styles!
Jazz, Funk & World (Sets 468-475):
Our new jazz, funk & blues RealTracks include a groovin’ collection of RealTracks and RealDrums! These include more requested “soul jazz” RealTracks featuring artists Neil Swainson (bass), Charles Treadway (organ), Brent Mason (guitar), and Wes Little (drums). There are new “smooth jazz” styles (4), which include a RealTracks first: muted trumpet, as well as slick new smooth jazz brushes options for drums.
