While the new GUI may be great for a lot of people I find that because of poor eyesight the old GUI suited me better.
Maybe it might be possible to have a "switch to classic view" mode so as to switch back to the old GUI if we wanted to.

In the short term couldnt you load/run the old BIAB2013 instead? I think all the new RTS etc will still be there to use.

Yes, an old thread, but it comes with a puzzle. What we now refer to as the 'new GUI' first appeared in, I think, 2018. I'm having a hard time remembering from 2013 what that 'new GUI' might have been. To my knowledge, CTRL+T was first introduced in 2018.
I suppose somebody could pull up the manuals from those earlier years to answer this question, if it is still relevant to do so. Simon recently posted all of them.

I agree, definitely the latest 'new GUI' was added in 2017-2018. Maybe this was referring to another adaptation of the much earlier interface, the one with the keyboard as part of the main display (or something like that)?
IIRC there was also a Control-T 'minimal display' of some sorts that could be used with the earlier interface, dating back to before 2015.
