support was no help, had no idea what to do. Thanks for the reference to the earlier thread. I'm copying biab2013 and saving it because it's working now and reinstalling 2014 to the C:\bb directory over what's there.
BB2014 is giving me file corrupted errors on some of the downloads and I have no drums playing in 2014, so I will continue using 2013 until I get 2014 to work.

John, did you download 2014 to install it, or install/run direct from the PGM supplied USB drive?
If you downloaded, you may have a corrupted file(s) in the download, and in that case, are you able to download again?

John, did you download 2014 to install it, or install/run direct from the PGM supplied USB drive?
If you downloaded, you may have a corrupted file(s) in the download, and in that case, are you able to download again? usb drive hasn't arrived yet, all download. Now re-downloading everything not included in 2013 and installing 2014 over 2013 in c:\bb. I did copy 2013 folder and renamed it. and that stuff all worked! I'm good....
