I wish there was a tutorial video just on how to create great song endings. I'm not talking about tags/repeats. But how to tweak biab to end the song exactly the way you want. I know this can be done but a dedicated video would be awsome, cause that is my biggest weakness for creating songs with the program, and I am sure I am not alone here....

Sorry I put it here because what I am asking is not a wish for a feature in biab. What I am looking for is knowledge. Hopefully in a video but I'll take what I can get. .....

Hi bostonx, Are the automatic BIAB endings working for you? I ask this in case the option has become disengaged. I've been using BIAB for many years and I've found that the BIAB automatic endings (not tags, repeats and fades) are amongst the best around. To double check that the endings are engaged, right-click on the Chord Sheet and select "Song Settings" and check that the two boxes I've highlighted below are activated.  Kind regards, Noel

Just some ideas without a video... slow the tempo gradually, reduce the volume of all instruments gradually, remove an instrument toward the ending, program in some shots and holds to create your own ending if you don't like the BIAB generated ending... even without musicianship, the first 3 suggestions should help.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
