For those of us who've decided to go with a Linux operating system for improved security and stable performance, I've found an application that will run XP within my Linux O/S in a "virtual harddrive". According to the developers, I can then run any Windoze-dependent program from within this partition.

Most folks here are more computer-capable than I am, and any advice or information from someone who is already successfully using this software, or who deploys it as a result of this post, would be appreciated. I have a couple of sizable projects to complete before I'll have time to install "VirtualBox", but it sounds promising, and is from a reputable developer.

And it's free, both to use, and to improve upon if you're inclined. (donations toward the project development are what keeps it afloat)
