Cari amici, oggi sono io che mi rivolgo a voi. Mi rivolgo in particolare a quelli come Sergio che usano BiaB da tempo, e lo conoscono bene, quanto e più di me. Io traduco BiaB in Italiano da tanti, tanti anni, ma non per questo sono scevro da errori. Per cui mi piacerebbe avere da voi consigli e suggerimenti su quello che avreste tradotto diversamente, o anche solo indicazioni di possibili correzioni da fare nella versione che sta per uscire. Negli anni io ho addirittura sostituito termini italiani con altri inglesi, perché entrati nell'uso comune (Play invece di Esegui, ad esempio). Stylemaker, RealTracks, ecc., ho preferito lasciarli così, in originale, perché qualunque traduzione in Italiano mi appariva lunga e tediosa. I termini musicali che uso forse non sono i più corretti (1mo/2ndo finale per gli spartiti di musica non mi è mai piaciuto, ad esempio). Qualche anno fa feci introdurre la modalità italiana di scrittura degli accordi, perché mi resi conto che dall'altra parte dell'oceano non la conoscevano neppure. Potete postare i vostri messaggi qui o mandarmeli in PM. Il programma è di tutti noi, come questo forum, del resto. Mi piacerebbe renderlo sempre più adatto alle vostre/nostre necessità.

Bello da parte tua Maurig, complimenti, e soprattutto grazie per quanto fai.
Temo di non poter essere molto utile in merito al Manuale, confesso che lo utilizzo poco e da qualche anno sfoglio la versione cartacea in Inglese che mi arriva quando acquisto su hard disk l'aggiornamento. Speriamo che qualche amico più affezionato alla nostra lingua si faccia avanti.
Sul tuo esempio del Finale potresti semplificare scrivendo solo il numero seguito dalla lettera “o”, ma comunque sono cose a parer mio veramente trascurabili. Non ricordo di aver letto in passato descrizioni di funzioni o termini poco comprensibili.
Passando al programma vero e proprio invece c'è una cosa onestamente che mi sarebbe sempre piaciuta trovare "nativa" in BiaB, una Tempo map come c'è per esempio in RealBand, anche se il massimo sarebbe in forma grafica (come hanno alcuni altri software, forse anche Cubase).
