Hi friends, I recently installed the new BIB version 2014 and when try to use a loop, I load it and is listed, however can't hear any sound. Any suggestions?

Is it a wav mp3 or wma, is it 16bit or 24bit ?

Mike B. It happens to me when, once loaded the loop, i press 'play' instead of 'generate and play'.

It's one of the stock loops that comes with BIB. If I open a demo song which comes with a loop, it plays it, if I change that loop for another one, then it won't sound at all. Not sure what's going in. Any help would be appreciate it.

Are you able to detail the name of the loop that you are having issues with, and the one that you use that is OK?

As far as I understand, you have to use the play/generate button to use the loops. I've tested out several 4 bar loops that I found on the net and they work fine.
I created a folder"guitars" in the loop folder and put the wav or mp3 files I found in there.
I chose the melody track for testing, put my chords in, chose a style, but muted the other instruments so I could hear the loops. I did the play /generate and it works.

Ok,it doesn't matter which one I open as long as it's built in with a demo or style song that comes with it, then just for the heck of it, I change it for another one in the loops folder still using the same song, and hit regen/play and no loop sound. If I preview it I can hear it, once introduced in the song, that's it! no sound. Weird

Check to make sure the track (slot) that you are using for the loop is not FROZEN.

Mike, do you see the VU meter on the track used for loops showing any signal when that track is playing?

Just the wav file is 24bit and don't don't down sample in RB to 16bit, so there was just noise, after I converted the original to 16bit works fine. Already used it in a song.
Is it a wav mp3 or wma, is it 16bit or 24bit ?
they need to be converted to 16 bit.
