When i load any bluegrass style in B.I.A.B i want to also generate a drum track but every time i try it generates over top the existing realtrack thats there and they both play from the same track..i cant figure out what im doing wrong ..anyone had this happen to them ??

First, welcome to the PG Music forums and the BIAB community. Once you learn the ins and outs of the software you can look forward to having some major fun!
I'm not an authority here, but I believe that most or all of PG's Bluegrass Styles don't contain drum tracks in the first place. BUT, if I recall correctly, BIAB 2014, and possibly earlier versions, are capable of supporting more than one Real Instrument per track. In order to make way for drums only you would have to erase an existing track.
If you really want the original track that's running where you want to put the drums, the solution would be to work your music up as far as you can in BIAB and then import it into RealBand, which supports up to 48 tracks, and add the drums there.

Hi Clayton_Mark, As Richard has already said, welcome to the forum! It sounds like you are playing a recorded sound along with a style. This could have happened if you have been experimenting with rendering a song to audio. To check this, try clicking on "Audio" (highlighted yellow below) and then see if activating the "Mute" option (circled in red) makes a difference. Using "Mute" will stop any audio sounding.  If activating "Mute" does make a difference, you might try "Kill audio" to remove the audio file from the song's directory so that it doesn't interfere with playback when you try different styles. In BB, I rarely play around with other instrument tracks other than what the style gives me..... but....
In the last few days..... I've been playing around with some things.
When I open BB there is a window tab in the upper right corner that is defaulted to a list of the tracks, and it shows which real track or patch is being used on a given instrument. If you double click on a specific instrument, a new window opens and you are able to remove the existing one and insert a new one.... either instrument or drum, from the real tracks folder.
I have used this to change up the drum kit on a tune I'm working on. It was a bit confusing at first to get rid of the old one.....but I think I figured it out.... I was able to replace the kit with several new ones finally settling on one I liked best.
Normally, I would be doing this in Real Band where I render the tracks because it's easier to do there. But it's easy enough to do in BB as well.
