Hi All,
The style jazzbaldp has an A rhythm that I like and a B rythm double time that I do not like. Is there a way to get rid of it or a way not to use it.

Two things:
First, eliminate any Green part markers. Change them to Blue. Blue gives you the A substyle, Green the B.
Second, if you don't want to hear the B substyle in the middle choruses, then there is a checkbox you need to uncheck. Go to Edit, Settings for this song. In the Song Settings menu, uncheck the first checkbox.

Bob,
Using Matt's approach coupled with the Freze function, it's also possible to keep the A-style drums and have the B-style accompaniment.
For example ...
If you like the b-part-marker instrumentation but do not like the drums, set all part markers to the blue, A part-marker (as suggested by Matt) and then generate the song.
Once the song is fully generated, Freeze the drum track.
Now put the green, B part-markers back where you'd like them and re-generate the song. The frozen drum track will be unaffected by the re-generation and so will only play the A-style throughout. The accompaniment, on the other hand, will have both A and B styles.

You can get very creative using the Freeze function described by Noel. Keep in mind that, in jazz styles, you will often find that the double-time in the B section is coming from the bass walking as well as from the drums.

Maybe a good wish list item - allowing part marker changes to be applied to certain tracks the same as holds and shots can be - perhaps the F5 or a right click on the part marker to bring up the option.

Hi Bob, Thank you for having a listen. Here are the instruments that I used to create the song. The Piano Realtrack is excellent! Bass: RT 481, Acoustic Jazz Ballad
Piano: RT 487, Acoustic Rhythm Jazz Ballad
Guitar: RT 555, Acoustic Rhythm Jazz Ballad Freddie
Guitar solo: RT 1979. Guitar Soloist Dixieland Medium
Piano Solo: Midi (Hi-Q piano) - generated by Soloist maker from one of the Bebop styles
Drums: JazzBrushesStick #1 Apart from the piano solo, they are all Realtracks. The work flow to my songs is ... 1. Create the song in BIAB. 2. Move to Realband and look for any additional tracks. I also tidy up the Realtracks in Realband if they need partial regeneration. 3. Take the tracks to Reaper (my DAW) for mixing. 4. In Reaper, I also listen for little fill-in musical hooks that I can copy and paste to appropriate places in the backing track. 5. My final mix is run through Ozone. This plug-in nicely polishes the overall sound of the mix. Hope this helps, Noel
