Dear All,
My Kenny Barron MSTs (2339 to 2345) are very quiet and rather distorted compared to other MSTs.
I'm guessing this is a problem with the installation or program, rather than a fault in the MSTs themselves.
If so, where are the MSTs, and how do I re-install them?

Mine are very soft too - didn't notice any distortion though. I ran them though my external KB to try different piano patches and they are still very soft. On the other hand, the Jazz Piano 1893-1900 are much louder by comparison. Not knowing much about Midi, I assume it is in the recording process. I was surprised to hear such a big difference.
I hope someone chimes in with some hints about this.
I think if you compare the Kenny Barron ST to RT, the soft sound is found in both.

Kenny Baron sounds very soft on my system too, compared with other styles.

So it's not my installation!
By 'distorted' I mean that if I bring the volume of the Barron MST's up to a usable level, my Steinway synth sounds as if the mute-pedal is permanently down; or maybe like an electric piano with the tone rolled right off.
So, very sadly, none of the Kenny Barron MST's are really usable at the moment.
I wonder if someone from PG would like to comment?

Dear All,
Following Trevor's suggestion, I've just had a very useful exchange with Kent in PG Support, who's been superbly prompt and helpful. Conclusions as follows:
1. Yes, the volume of the Kenny Barron MSTs (2339 to 2345)is much lower than normal.
2. Whether increasing the synth volume changes the quality of the sound, depends on the piano synth used. eg the Sample Tank piano just get louder; more sophisticated synths may distort.
3. Kent has come up with a clever work around: Put the KB MST on the Melody Track; freeze it and then increase the midi volume (Melody -> Edit Melody Track -> Adjust Level of Melody). If I put +60 in Adjust-Level, it sounds identical to a normal MST, through the same synth.
I'm hoping PG may be able to re-issue the KB MSTs at normal volume, but in the meantime Kent's work-around works fine.
