Big Lyrics window only shows chord names.
I don't use this feature much. I loaded a song (autumn leaves),with lyrics and the lyrics only show up in the upper part of the notation window

I'm not exactly sure what you mean here, when you say "the upper part of the notation window". Are you trying to get the lyrics to display in the Big Lyrics window or the Notation Window? They are 2 different windows.
I'll assume you're using BIAB 2014, build 381 (if not, best to update first or let us know what version you are using).
- use File > Open to load your song to BIAB
- click on the big "L" in the menu area and select "Big Lyrics Window"
- you should now see the names of the chords, and the text for the lyrics
- if not, click on the Options button and ensure both are selected
- if this is the window you are referring to in your post, and you can only see the "upper part", just click and drag the bottom right-hand corner to make the window bigger
- if this isn't what you're referring to, close the Big Lyrics window
- click on the Notation button (looks like an eighth note) on the "Views" menu
- when the Notation window opens, you should see the lyrics somewhere.
Let us know what you find and give us more details.
Sorry if the instructions are "basic" but I don't know your skill level with BIAB.
