Hello,
Haven't been on here in a while, but I have an old (14 years old!) composition in which I played guitar, and added 7 other midi tracks. How do I convert this PT music to something I could put on a CD or play or post as a MP3?

What version of PT do you have?
If it is a seq file you'll need PT or RB to convert.
Instructions may vary for a file/version this old, depending on the version of PT being used..

Should be Audio - merge audio and VSTi tracks to stereo wave file.
If not, try
File - Audio - merge to stereo wave file.
You'll need to have a softsynth (VSTi or DXi) working to use this method.
Alternatively you'll have to record the MIDI tracks to audio before doing above.

Thanks, I'll have to dig out my books- VST and DXi and transferring midi to audio- don't remember any of that.

If you can play it and you can hear it; there is a way. That's the good news.
Not knowing how you are 'hearing' the MIDI can make it a complicated question.
You may want to just record the output back to a stereo audio track in real time. This involves tinkering with the mixer being used (could be the Windows mixer or another one if installed). It may the way that is easiest for you.
If you don't know what VSTi or DXi is, it is likely you are not using them and instead are using the Windows stock sound setup. This would mean recording what u hear may just be the simplest and best way.
