I hope someone can help, - or maybe I am just ignorant..?
When I have a song play with real tracks, it obviously generates the new tracks and the it just starts playing without warning.
Is there a way in which I can get it to generate the song and wait for me to press the play button before it starts to play.
I play in a church environment, and it creates either a few seconds of waiting for the song to load, and then without warning starts to play at which time I am not with it 100%

"Freeze" the tracks prior to the gig so they are all ready to go. Then when you hit play there will be no delay.

Thanks for the advice,would then compile a playlist and then freeze all the tracks...?
I have never done it so a bit unsure

In a church environment, I would do the work at home as far as the arrangement and such. EXPORT the tracks, be sure they are EQ'd, and normalized and ready to go.... then BURN THEM to a CD. Carry the CD to church for the FOH to play in the CD player in the rack.
The CD is a much more solid and reliable platform from which to play the backing tracks of real band than the computer itself, especially the way you're using it right now.
I've played a few songs as "special music" in churches I have attended and I always used a CD copy. The simpler you can make it the better off you will be in the long run.

I concur that taking the songs in a different form (CD, MP3 etc.) is safer.
Because of the situation you describe, I suggested a few months ago that we have the capability to Generate without automatic Play. Then, pressing Play would immediately start the readied song. There's a Wishlist post out there somewhere.
