How is the iLok thing? That is the only thing that has stopped me from downloading it so far.

well, its a native plugin so you don't actually need an iLok, just have to install the pace iLok licencer manager (software) on your computer & thats it, when you fill in the form on the eventide website it will automatically send a licence to the iLok manager & then give you the links to download the plugin. I hasten to add that Google Chrome has problems so best to use Firefox, safari etc

Kevin, I was put off by the iLok thing as well cause I really don't like activations and copy protection schemes. but I went ahead because of the price and I must admit it was really easy.
1) download and install iLok app
2) go to iLok and set up an account (or do it through the app)
3) download and install UltraChannel
4) activate using the iLok app
and you should be good to go! the only glitch I experienced was the access code which is listed on their FAQ and kinda hard to find. but it is the same code for everyone so here ya go!
