Hi,
does anybody know how to solve this „problem“?
It is easy to use sampleplayers like Kontakt etc with BiaB. (A video tutorial describes it.) But rendering the song to audio, my iMac uses its own sounds/instruments (Apple DLS Synth, I suppose, sounds awful) and not those loaded in the appropriate channels of the sampleplayer (and which I hear when playing a song).
Where do I find a setting to force BiaB to use the sounds of the sampleplayer and not the built-in of the iMac?
I now use BiaB 2014 under OS X 10.9, but the problem occured in versions before, BiaB and OS X.
I posted the problem before, and nobody could help – how about today?

I don't believe there is a setting in BIAB to do what you want. You could try using the information in the video tutorial to set up a midi output stream from BIAB to your DAW--Garageband, Logic, etc. Insert Kontakt as plugin in your DAW and see if you can record the streaming output. Otherwise, audition the Kontakt sounds in BIAB and then export your MIDI file to your DAW and replicate the Kontakt sounds as a plug in.

Hi Fred,
thank for your answer.
I usually import Midi-files in my DAW (your second hint; I will try the first one). That works fine, but I did not understand, why the sampleplayer's sounds were not used when „recording“ a song. May be I should post the matter in the wishlist.
