Hi guys: I'm sure glad I finished this song last week! Because today I brought it up and EVERYTHING is "out of sync". I know I have "thrown" a button or something simple, but I'm at an impasse. I've re-booted; that didn't do the trick. The song is RealTracks and midi together, so I hit the "Panic", and midi reset. I've got 16 gigs Ram on a brand new Dell All-in-One, so that shouldn't be the problem. I know it's "pilot error", I'll feel real "dumb" when it's fixed . . . Ha! Thanks, guys.

Try Opt., Return to Factory Settings.
What else might you have changed on your system in the interim?
When you say it's out of sync, let's clarify that. Mute the Melody and Soloist tracks and maybe Strings - anything that's MIDI - and see if it plays OK. Then we know the sync problem is to get MIDI to play in time with RealTracks, and there is an adjustment.
What do you use to play MIDI? Hardware or software synth?

Yes, Hi Matt: You're right! This midi stuff does not play right with the audio stuff. I have 4 trumpets on the audio and they sound right. But when I re-cue the midi, it's out of sync.

Wow! I had been afraid of "hitting" that "return to factory" settings . . . . but that did it! I thought that would change my hours of work on the file, but it didn't. Thanks, Mat.

Great! Sometimes we get lucky...
Remember that one the next time the program doesn't seem to work as it did. Can't hurt, since recent BIAB versions allow you to save settings first, and sometimes fixes the problem.

Quite often, when midi and audio are out of sync, it's because of the driver being used.
MME is a driver that does exhibit that tendency. Using a soundcard that supports ASIO is the best option.
Glad the "return to factory settings" resolved it for you.
Personally, I can not use my Dell lappy with it's internal sound card to play audio and midi together. I have to use my Saffire Interface and ASIO to get it to work. I can use it with straight audio in Real Band just fine. And BB works fine too with TTS synth playing the parts.
