Found another cool remix project. Contest rules here. Except for the vocal stems, I used Real Band exclusively - Feedback welcome. Enjoy? Very interesting vocal track you had to work with! While listening to the intro, we were wondering what you would do with it. It was quite a bit different than what we were expecting ... but we liked it a lot. You put kind of a Pop-Jazzy beat with a modern African sound and it worked out just fine! Thanks for a new and interesting sound done very nicely! best to ys ..

cool stuff. I have worked with some vocal stems in the past from big name artists.....it's lots of fun.
This was rather enjoyable once it got going.... I especially liked it from the 50 sec point onward..... Kinda reminded me of a Cirque tune..... which I happen to really enjoy listening to.

Understood... thanks. The first accapella part seems to be in 3/4 and then the main vocal stems were in 4/4, so I really struggled with how to transition from the intro to the verse (hard to call it that really)... nonetheless it was fun to try.
She has a few more stems of other songs that I might try working on though the contest ends on Sunday so running short on time. Again, thanks for the feedback.

I agree there are some unusual blends early on in the song-not clashing but leaving a sense of not being stable. However, once it settles, I found it to be extremely sweet and pleasant!! I don't know the original work but I really like this. Take care. Greg
