Talkin' Miles, there was a bar called Figaros, owned by my musician college friend,cornet player, who had the first band I ever played in..
well, he bought Figaros from a previous owner..and kept this jukebox loaded with Miles, one of the newest, coolest sounds around at that moment in time.
Everyone who stopped by regularly, made sure Figaros' JUKEBOX WAS loaded with quarters....should have, renamed it "Oasis for Miles"
....when your ears heard Miles for the first time, it seemed like IT CHANGED US... OUR VIEW OF HOW FAR MODERN JAZZ COULD TAKE US!! ..our whole view of the planet morphed with our man..MILES!!
