Some good blues, almost southern rock, coming out of upstate NY. Good job for a (WIP) work in progress?? This is a nice mix, good selection of BB instruments and your vocals work well within this genre. A great first effort.
As a WIP, I would only say that I felt the beginning of the song seemed a little busy with the choice of guitars you use. About 0.28 into the song when the riff changes seems to be a better starting place to me. I know it is completely subjective but just throwing it out for consideration. I felt the groove of the song was jumping back and forth in the first verse because of the guitar riffs but the song groove settled nicely from the second verse on. Your overall choice of guitars worked well together.
I really enjoyed the song, writing and production overall and look forward to hearing more of your work.
Charlie

Hi JC,
Good to "meet" you. Super deep South blues! As Greg mentioned, sounds like a nicely produced live session. This is cool and hot at the same time!
Perfect tone on the guitar and the mix is near-perfect! Also, we loved the vocal harmony ... great stuff!
I (Alan) have a good friend from the Finger Lakes area (Ilion - home of Remington weapons).
This was really cool in every way ... we loved it!

Very well done.
Well written rock number. Good vocals.
Nice editing (for those bass solo/licks) - and good mix.
A great listen. Looking forward to more!

I didn't know it was possible to get such a straight "live" sounding rock sound with BIAB, but this one shows it is! Very nice first song. The harmony vocals are also very cool.
Regards, Rob

Great vibe you have going here! This tells the world that us Yankees can play some damn good southern rock blues!
OK, a random thought; Why does toilet paper need a commercial? Who's not buying it?

I like both. They do have different vibes. I can't decide if I like the change in voices in the guitars. The tune does have a live feel to it. Even a little more reverb would increase that, as would more bass and organ which I think would really give more drive to this tune. If you played with EQ's you could notch out to enable the other instruments to shine.
Great vocals and great work overall!
Peace~

Hi JC This is a great rocker! The vocals sound done to me. Love the backing vocals. Agree with what has been said about a real live sound. Good job!

When I did the vocals(20 min rush job)i was sitting in living room with mic just sitting on TV tray and i was surprised how good they came out with just alittle effects on them. I used my Zoom H2n digital recorder that worked awesome . The bass line i found is real close to what i wrote but i think my 5 string will sound real good on it. The song has a ton of potential I think. Here is a live version that one of my old bands did I think you can hear how BIAB is going to make it so much better. The Ride Live 2007
