I now have BIAB 2013 ultraplus and i never had this issue with BIAB 2012 , When I launch BIAB or PB The meter for input level is always peeking. This happen with mic on laptop and when i hookup my Zoom H2n Mic. Is there a default setting where i can lower this level? right now i have to stand wayback from mic and use almost -3 or -4 limiter. Please help i want to start laying bass and vocal tracks tonite thanks

The mic level on my system is controlled by Windows "recording devices". This is accessed by right-clicking on the speaker icon located on the right side of the task bar.

Thanks Noel96 i really thought i had done that, But when i went to that just now the mic boost was set +20db WOW seems to have fixed it, its not peeking with laptop mic anymore .Thank you so much for the wonderful help
