Hi Stu ... I think this is the first of your songs we've listened to ... good to "meet" you!
We're fans of the genre ... Pop Disco. And you have the voice for it! Great song and presentation. And yes, the bass line drives this, no doubt.

Can you post the RTs you used? And what else was involved?
And, what are the claps? - I think they could come down a little - the instrument mix is good... speaking of.. you sure got a loud mix, there! nearly blew my headphones (or my ears)...

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not at my computer to check exactly which Real Tracks I used. I know the bass and rhythm guitar are from one of the Jazz Funk real styles. The strings are from a sample library called Disco Strings. The piano is called Black Grand from Sampletekk which I played in Kontakt. My wife also said I should raise the vocals slightly. I guess she is always right after all

I don't think it's so much that your voice level is too low in this, it's the clapping that's much loo loud.... as is the whole file in general, it started up on full volume and my cat jumped right up in the air from her napping!  Strings are the killer in this though, absolutely 'makes' the song 
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should!
