Is there a way to get drums (both RealDrums and midi), bass, guitar and/or strings to play triplets? I don't use the Melody or Soloist tracks.
If not, best approximation?

You have to find a MIDI style or RealTrack that has tripletized drums in them. If you can't find it through the filter/search, then you'll need to just preview them.
If you can't find one, you might try locating a MIDI file that has the style you want and then use the BIAB style w wizard to create the drum track that you're looking for.

Actually, drums are the least of it, more important is bass. But you're saying there is no way to score a triplet phrase. So I'll find a work-around - if I use midi tracks instead of RealTracks, I can transfer the while thing into my DAW. No prob.

Any of the BIAB swing styles uses triplet format.
The standard Blueberry hill has bas doing triplets.
The best bet is to pick a song, or chord progression, and audition the styles. find the ones you like and make a hybrid of the instruments in your own style

Dave, I'm trying to have the rhythm tracks play (typically) one bar in the middle of a song, usually in the head only, leading to a break or punch - ting, tink-a ting, dah-dah-dah-whomp (swing ride to triplet). The rest of the song is standard 4/4 jazz ride or hat. The styles like Blueberry Hill do not match the style or feel, as far as I have found. Can I force the alternate style to maintain the same instrumentation?

I am not sure that I understand, but you can change styles mid song, and back again whenever using F5.
It also has the ability to change instrument patches at that bar. Again, you can reset the patches at any point
I don't know if that will work.

Again, if you find a MIDI file that has what you want, you can use the style wizard to create a user style that can be invoked at any bar. Obviously, this won't work for RealTracks, since what they play are predefined. When you create a user style, you can assign whichever instruments you want to the tracks. So if the original MIDI used a piano, but you want organ, just change it and save your style.

Thanks for the info, ideas and help. Bottom line is the BiaB does not include tuplet options in its generic rhythms. I can deal with that, just hoped there was an easier way. Thanks.
