Every now and then I'll be working out an idea with a style take sounds ok but I'll try another style (Don't have the name at hand right now) and BB will load the style, I'll do generate and BB will say it's generating but either a message that soloist or melody, which are not in the style or have been used, are generating and wait, which it never completes.
I finally get to close out and save the chords but some styles seem to be looking for something that's not there.
It's a bit of a nuance and well as a glitch.
Any thoughts?

Always use SAVE... and when you have glitches, the first thing to do is to shut down the entire system and cold boot back up with a few seconds pause during power off.
Don't use the "restart" ...power off and then re-boot.
this generally works for me when I hit this problem.
This also assumes that you have that style/ real track available in the edition you have.

I've never come across what you describe. Next time it happens, take a note as to which style you loaded and I'll give that style a test drive.
