Acquistare kit upgrade BIAB su HD in Europa
Un saluto a tutti i biabisti italiani!
Utilizzo una vecchia versione di BIAB ormai da parecchi anni e ho deciso di acquistare il prossimo imminente upgrade a BIAB 2015 non appena sarà disponibile.
Volevo chiedere se i kit di upgrade (non la versione "primo acquisto") su HardDisk si possono acquistare online anche presso qualche rivenditore qui in Europa, magari proprio in Italia oppure se bisogna ordinarli per forza presso PGMusic facendosi spedire il kit USB Hard disk dagli USA e quindi obbligatoriamente pagando le ulteriori spese di sdoganamento, l'Iva, il dazio ecc.
Sulla pagina in italiano del sito PGMusic c'è un link al sito di un distributore svizzero che però risulta essere ancora tutto in costruzione.
Per riassumere, dove si comprano gli upgrade di BIAB senza aggiungere dazi e tasse varie? :-)

Mah, che io sappia l'acquisto diretto tramite questo sito è sempre stato il modo più pratico, sicuro e veloce per ottenere le diverse versioni, nonché le traduzioni in italiano e l'assistenza online.
La spedizione non ha mai richiesto più di 3-4 giorni, e non mi risultano lamentele di nessuno per eventuali spese aggiuntive e sovrapprezzi.
Se qualche altro amico può segnalare invece casi diversi è il benvenuto

Un saluto ai biabisti,
Lo sdoganamemto di prodotti acquistati fuori EU è obbligatorio, anche se ovviamente in presenza di grandi quantità (ad esempio sotto Natale) qualche pacchetto potrebbe sfuggire ai controlli. E poi comunque per legge dovrebbe essere lo stesso vettore/corriere a calcolare le addizionali e farle pagare al destinario al momento della consegna del pacchetto. Quindi o si è moolto fortunati oppure lo sdoganamento degli HD BIAB provenienti dagli Usa si dovrebbe proprio pagare.
Dopo qualche ricerca ho trovato un rivenditore di upgrade in Germania, ma facendo due conti, più o meno le cifre dagli USA o dall'EU alla fine si equivalgono.
Ipotizziamo l'acquisto del pacchetto "UltraPlusPAK"

- 299 dollari
Al cambio odierno sono 241,30 euro.
All'incirca le spese di sdoganamento saranno le seguenti:
- Iva 22% = 53,09
- Dazio circa 2,0% = 4,82
- Spese fisse dogana = 5,50

304,71 euro
Sul sito tedesco lo stesso upgrade costa 295 euro + 14,60 di spese corriere
totale = 309,60 euro.
Mah, forse hai ragione tu maurig, tantovale comprare direttamente in USA.
Ancora una domanda:
se acquisto da PGMusic la versione in inglese, potrò poi sempre richiedere appena sarà disponibile la versione in italiano gratuitamente, vero?
Oppure è cambiato qualcosa e questo non è più possibile?

Sì sì, certo, non appena sarà in vendita la versione 2015 e penso che manchi veramente poco, farò sapere. Mi sono informato presso colleghi e amici che acquistano fuori EU (USA, HongKong e Taiwan in particolare) e tutti sostengono che le spese doganali vanno a pura fortuna. Pacchi grandi e costosi talvolta sfuggono al controllo, mentre pacchettini da poche decine di euro vengono bloccati per giorni e tassati inesorabilmente. Boh! Grazie Maurig per le info e l'eccellente lavoro, trouble ps: ehm, chiedo venia a PGMusic, nei miei post precedenti intendevo dire dal Canada non dagli Usa

Un saluto ai biabisti! Mi chiedevo come mai più di cento persone sono passate per questo thread senza aggiungere qualche opinione, esperienza, contributo  Forse qui nessuno ha mai acquistato gli upgrade su harddisk? Tutti prendono la versione 'downloadable only'? In effetti potrei farci un pensierino anch'io perché in fondo con gli euro risparmiati ci si può prendere tranquillamente un buon disco esterno da 500 GB e si pareggiano i conti. Certo che bisogna scaricare veramente tanti gigabytes per avere un biab completo. La mia linea dsl è a dieci mega, pensate che possa essere sufficiente per fare ragionevolmente il download dei 60/70 GB di biab? (non sono un grande esperto di download LOL  ) Grazie a tutti e buone biabiature, trouble

Ciao trouble,
personalmente non mi sono inserito in questa interessante discussione perchè avrei al massimo confermato all'incirca le tue esperienze e i tuoi ragionamenti.
Acquisto abitualmente l'upgrade su Hard Disk ed in merito alle tasse doganali effettivamente sono da pagare, spero solo che non mi accada come tempo addietro (avevo parlato di questo in un altro post) quando, pur avendo pagato alla consegna la tassa, mi arrivò una lettera dove mi veniva chiesto di pagare ancora! Dovetti mettere la faccenda nelle mani di uno studio professionale che riuscì poi a sbrogliare la matassa.
Proprio quest’esperienza mi indusse l’anno scorso a testare la capacità di download della mia linea, purtroppo comprai lo stesso la versione su Hard Disk per mancanza di fiducia nell’ADSL ma in verità riuscii a scaricare tutto prima dell’arrivo dell’Hard Disk con una linea Telecom a 7 Mega.
Bisognerebbe tenere più in considerazione (almeno questo è il mio parere) che PG Music offre questo servizio su ottimi Server e mette adisposizione per il download tempi molto ragionevoli.
Quest’anno sono passato a Fibra con 30 Mega e sicuramente opterò per il solo Download, basta Hard Disk e spese doganali.
In sintesi: consiglio vivamente a chi è interessato di testare le capacità della propria linea (nel web si trovano facilmente metodi per farlo) e se ritenuta sufficiente scegliere il risparmio con il solo Download.

Ciao seranto,
ti ringrazio per aver condiviso la tua esperienza e sono contento perché è proprio quello che vorrei fare io e me ne hai dato conferma sulla reale fattibilità.
Ho verificato che la mia linea dsl, pur non essendo velocissima, è però stabile e penso proprio che mi metterò a scaricare invece di avere a che fare con hard disk e dogana.
A questo punto avrei un'ultima domanda.
Sono cambiate molto le Realtracks negli ultimi 5 anni, in altre parole, quelle che ho già, dovrò per forza riscaricarle?
E poi, sotto Natale le linee dsl sono più intasate oppure al contrario più libere perché molte attività chiudono per le vacanze?

Ciao trouble,
sinceramente non farei tanti calcoli sul traffico internet, sul fatto che possa essere più o meno sfruttato durante il periodo delle festività. Sono convinto (anche se ovviamente potrei sbagliarmi alla grande!) che ci sia una sorta di equilibrio: su un piatto della bilancia qualche attività chiusa e un po’ di gente che si preoccupa più di andare a spasso, sull’altro piatto altra gente che magari proprio perchè è più libera usa internet di più.
Ti consiglio di scaricare tutte le Real Tracks anche quelle che già possiedi, perché nel tempo PG Music aggiorna anche questi file.
Se non ricordo male una delle chicche del download è un file che funge da Manager durante il processo d’installazione. In pratica quando hai finito non devi andare a “lanciare” tutti i file uno alla volta, c’è un file eseguibile che gestisce il tutto, e ricordo (mi era accaduto) che ti segnala i file eventualmente danneggiati durante il download, così hai la possibilità di riscaricarli e completare la tua nuova installazione con tranquillità, sapendo che hai utilizzato file “sani” e che il programma riconoscerà tranquillamente.
Tutto questo sempre sperando che un abitante della “Cometa marameo” non decida di scendere sul nostro pianeta vicino a casa nostra proprio mentre scarichiamo BiaB!

Ho appena acquistato BB Audiophile 2014 su HDD ordinato in USA da Amazon e Ho intenzione di ordinare l'upgrading 2015 da PG ma ho due tipi di problemi per i quali chiedo il vostro aiuto. Il contratto di licenza cita la possibilità di usarlo su un solo computer ed io mi trovo inibito dall' esplorare il programma sul PC desktop perché la mia intenzione finale è, naturalmente, quella di usarlo con un notebook (che devo ancora comprare). La mia incertezza è data dal fatto che pur volendo usare BB dall'ext HD se, nel tentativo di studiarlo, mi dovessi "ritrovare" bloccato sul desktop?....addio progetto finale. Il secondo problema é costituito anche dal supporto HD dell'upgrade (2015). Oltre a sembrare un albero di natale che cosa potrei fare con due HD? Esiste un modo di unirli in un solo HD ext? Mi riesce difficile pensare ad un notebook con 2TB occupate da un solo programma, e il resto? Io queste domande le ho fatte anche all'help desk di PG ma non ho ricevuto risposta, e non è questione di lingua perché in inglese non ho problemi, quindi mi affido "pesantemente" al vostro aiuto.
