Could you pls advise?
If you want to have a midi gospel choir, can BIAB create it for you? Of course, you will need a good samples library so that it sounds good. But can BIAB create the midi from scratch?

Hi,
If you're thinking of a choir of ooohs and aaaahs, it might be possible to use some string tracks and to change the midi patch to a vocal sound. I'm not sure how that would turn out but it would be worth a shot.
It would also be possible to enter your own midi notes and to assign a vocal patch to them.
If you're thinking "Will BIAB let me select 'Choir' and then when I click the 'Generate' button will it arrange a whole gospel choir?", the answer is no. BIAB as it presently stands can't do that.

Also take a look at the vocal harmonizer tool that's in both BiaB and RB. It will never be as good as a real choir but it can help and give more than adequate results when tweaked and mixed correctly. It will work with real vocals, sampled vocals and individual midi sounds quite well. With levels balanced and good use of panning and delay (available in RB) will at least give you something to experiment with.

Continuing on the path that Charlie is on... I created a "choir" to add to Robert Taylor's song "Held In His Hand" by using the a single vocal track (that I sang) run through the BIAB/RB harmonizer... You can hear a sample of that here: http://floydjane.com/Songs/Harmonies.htm(the top one...)
