Hello all,
I had some color issues in BIAB 2015 and would like to ask if any of you has experienced anything similar to the following :
After I installed BIAB 2015 I wanted to change the chord area background color.
So I chose Opt – Colors – for the object ‘Chord Area’ the color BEIGE(OG) from the list with predefined colors. When I chose that color I noticed the foreground color of some of the Track Button labels at the top left of the screen also changed, but to black, the labels from Master, Thru and Audio. Because they where black on a black background they where almost unviewable.
When I tried to change the color of the ‘Topscreen – edit text color’ in the list to white the color of the chord area was also reset to that color again.
I noticed that when I chose the Color Selection Element ‘Chord Area’ in the list the list-item ‘Topscreen – edit text color’ also automatically changed with it!
Then I manually chose a color with the Windows color picker (RGB 252,249,188) which is yellowish, and then I changed the Topscreen color back to white, and now it worked.
So I found a manual color setting that works now but I wonder why it didn’t with a predefined color from the list of colors for the chord area object?

Hi Valentino,
About a week ago, some colour issues were raised in relation to 2015. They were not exactly the same as yours but I suspect they're related. It was reported at that time that PG Music are aware of this problem and are working on it.
Can I suggest that you put your above information into an email and send it to support@pgmusic.com as your detailed investigation will help them get further insight into the issue. What you have discovered is very informative.

Hello Noel,
Thanks for your reply. And yes, you are correct, in the recent BIAB build 411 a bugfix for color was mentioned. I had already installed that build btw.
I already had contact with PGMusic-support about this, though at that time the support employee was not able to reconstruct the color issue on his pc, so it was concluded it should be something on my pc, like something inherited from previous BIAB-installations. As mentioned, later I then noticed the 'color-connection' between the chord area and topscreen label objects and then could solve it myself.
Thats why I'm curious if others have found similar color issues.
