Hi,
did the 2015 upgrade, downloaded and install everything...but trying some new style with real tracks gives me the message some ST2 files are missing for example..RPno0222.ST2 or RSSax006.ST2
Infact they are not in the bb folder or anywhere in the computer.
How is it possible to solve the issue? Installed the 2015 RT files a second time, but didn't change anything.
Any advice?

Assuming you are in Windows, run cmd and you should get an old-style DOS prompt. At the prompt, choose the drive letter where BIAB sits,
Type CD \ <Enter>
Then type dir/s *.st2 > st2.txt
This will create a file in the root of the drive that tells you what ST2 files are in what subdirectories. st2.txt

Thanks for the reply, but I already checked and the files are not there. The problem is why they have not been installed, and how may I install them. If I go with the check for updates everything seems fine...all realtrcks updated

Which upgrade did you get? Did you install on top of a working copy of 2014?

yes but the missing files seem to be those belonging to the last upgrade 2015.

Hi Jordan, Welcome to the forums  Have you installed the most recent build of the program? You can find which build is installed by going to the "Help" menu and then selecting "About Band In A Box". The build will be in brackets after the version: e.g. 2015(413). BIAB is currently up to build #414. Found at ... http://www.pgmusic.com/support_windowsupdates.htmRegards, Noel P.S. At the moment, it seems best to download the update from PG Music and manually install it rather than using the automatic option in the Help menu.

When you upgraded, which version of the upgrade did you get (the PlusPak ($99), the UltraPlusPak ($139), the program update ($49), etc.)?

Hi, yes I didn't buy the Band-in-a-Box UltraPlusPAK Upgrade with RealBand so maybe this is the reason. I bought the mega pack. Tried to ask if I can add the money difference but noone answered me yet, probably in two or three days.My total real tracks are 1318.

Hi Jordan,
The cheapest package deal that has all Realtracks, Supertracks and Realdrums is the UltraPlusPak. The MegaPak will be missing some of these. Which ones are not included with the MegaPa, I do not know.
If three days have passed since you emailed Sales, I'd be jumping on the the phone and calling the toll-free number. There is also Live Chat which allows a customer to deal directly with sales staff in real time.

I had a similar problem. I found all the missing files on my other computer running BIAB2014. I copied them to the \bb folder and that solved the problem.

Alf,
I've been using your excellent midi files for Reels, Jigs and Hornpipes.
Now that you use BIAB, have you any thoughts on a BIAB/RealTracks Style for a fiddle backing track for say as an example:
1. Mason's Apron
2. Banish Misfortune
3. Harvest Home

With Band-in-a-Box® 2026, we've released 202 incredible new RealTracks (in sets 468-488) in a variety of genres—featuring your most requested styles!
Jazz, Funk & World (Sets 468-475):
Our new jazz, funk & blues RealTracks include a groovin’ collection of RealTracks and RealDrums! These include more requested “soul jazz” RealTracks featuring artists Neil Swainson (bass), Charles Treadway (organ), Brent Mason (guitar), and Wes Little (drums). There are new “smooth jazz” styles (4), which include a RealTracks first: muted trumpet, as well as slick new smooth jazz brushes options for drums. Blues lovers will be thrilled—there are more “classic acoustic blues” styles, including guitar (5), bass (4), and drums (10) with blues master Colin Linden, featuring understated and tasty background acoustic soloing, plus brushes drums and acoustic bass. There is also a potpourri (14) of bouzouki, guitars, banjo, and more, perfect for adding texture and character to contemporary acoustic arrangements. We’ve added funky country guitar (5) with PG favorite Brent Mason, along with classic pedal steel styles (5) featuring steel great Doug Jernigan. There are more country songwriter styles (8) that provide intimate, rootsy foundations for storytelling and modern Americana writing.
