This is not really a list of favorite folders; it's a list of recently accessed folders with the most recent on top. It would be greatly improved if some folders could be pinned to the top of the list.

same on RB, you hit open and it goes directly to the bb folder, or RB folder, and never to the last one i opened, or the one i have been working in

I think this is probably a legacy thing. It used to be that BIAB equated "favorite" with "most recently used" for most of its settings. For example, "favorite styles" used to be a list of "recently used styles".
But agree, should be fixed in the true spirit of "favorite".
