I don't see any styles/tracks specifically for Scottish/Cape Breton Strathspeys in my UltraPlusPAK. Just wonderin' if someone could recommend a style that would work well...

Real Tracks set 202 has Celtic styles Also RT sets 173, 123, 225, 213, 104 might be useful? I understand that these are included in the UltraPlusPak HTH Trev

I've got the UltraPlusPAK. It has just about every Celtic style you can mention: slow airs, waltzes, jigs, reels, hornpipes, but no strathspeys.

Sorry the Celtic styles were not suitable.
The Strathspey style is obviously somewhat esoteric.

Thanks for the sample. At least I know what a Strathsprey sounds like. The problem is, without any accompaniment, it's tough to tell what the other instruments should be playing (drums, guitar, bass etc.).
Do you by any chance have a file like that?
We may have a better chance of finding appropriate styles and/or RealTracks that may work.

Lloyd, the following would be representative of a Cape Breton style strathspey, at least in terms of the piano accompaniment. Thanks for the links. That gives us a much better idea of what you're after. However, I don't think I've ever come across an existing style that would be suitable.
There are likely others on the forum more familiar with this kind of music that could point you to some.
There are a couple of things you could do. The first being to go to the Styles And RealTracks Wishlist and put in a request. You could also find a MIDI file of a strathspey song and use the BIAB feature of Auto-create Style From MIDI File.
There are other features under the Styles dropdown for creating your own style from scratch if all else fails.
