Are we getting any support for panning etc in the mixer for BIAB 2015 using SampleTank3.
I have used another 64bit with jbridge and it worked ok.

I think the issue may lie with Sampletank not responding to the standard CC message. Not sure if PGMusic can fix that .. but that's just a hunch. I have also used the panning with other VSTi's successfully. Normally if the synth doesn't respond it is because it is not GM compliant.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

Thank you rharv for your input.
I actually tried the learn mode in ST3 and I could not get it to work with the sliders in BIAB mixer.
Hopefully we can get a fix or workaround, other wise manual shifting will come back into play.

Just tried this with both ST3 (which is obviously 64-bit only) and the 64 bit full version of Kontakt 5 from within BIAB, using JBridge. Kontakt responds, as you would expect, to the PAN but you are right, ST 3 does not and has been discussed at IK forum - at some point they will have to address this one better. http://cgi.ikmultimedia.com/ikforum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=8430However, the Learn DOES work when using BIAB, but it is tricky, and once again the onus is on ST3's (IK's) side of the house. To use the Learn - CC data needs to be coming in but if you stop or pause the song in BIAB nothing is going out the MIDI port to ST3. So song needs to be playing but, and here is catch 22 so to speak, when you hit Learn in ST3, then click on the Pan button in part within ST3 you want to control pan for - if ANY CC data is seen by ST3 BEFORE you can move BIABs Pan (CC10) (e.g., CC7 - vol, or CC-1 modulation, or CC - 91 reverb amount, or CC -0 BANK select.) then you need to try again because ST3 will now only respond the FIRST CC it saw for pan. Thank you Larry for the link to IK, sorry I didn't know this was an issue as most every other plugin does it automatic.
I did get the
Volume MIDI Cont.# 7
Pan MIDI Cont.# 10 to work and it was through the mixer in ST3 that worked best using the comp/eq gain knob setting at 0. Of course the patches come in at whatever they were saved as so this can make consistency with the volume in BIAB a moot point at best. Interesting results obtained when learning from the PLAY tab in ST3 mileage may vary!
Well at any rate it looks like an update has been posted which I don't think fixed this issue, I could be wrong and won't be updating anytime soon.

I didn't know it either UNTIL you posted it here.
Then I did some searching and found that discussion. There are a few things over there I didn't pay attention to, just like here, and at Cakewalk, ....
too much to read, too much to remember, and oh yea I forgot what is that first thing that goes anyway?
