RE-Generate part of a real track?
I know this is possible with RB but is it possible to achieve in BB?
If not, it would be a great feature to have in BB.

You CAN go into the Soloist and choose "Custom" to add a Realtrack, for example, to an intro. Select starting, ending bars, etc...

In theory yes, in practice is very difficult to get usable results with this strategy. Try it yourself and you'll realize why. I'm not sure what you mean, Cerio.. I choose the "Soloist" button...the Real Tracks all show up, and I can even choose between "Chording" and "Solo".. also filter. I have done this for intros as well as "fills" on held notes.

Just want to add that when the Soloist button is clicked, the 2nd option of the drop-down list is to be selected- Open soloist dialog...
This brings you to the screen you need to continue.

Well, there is another way that I sometimes use.
First up let me say that most will find Realband a better option, I find Realband one of life's horrible experiences, tried for years to make it work for me, fail, then promise myself I'll kill myself before I try it again. There, rant finished.
If you use a DAW, works for me in Cubase, Sonar, Reaper, put BIAB in DAW mode select the range you want to change, say bars 5-8, either A) Drag Inst to Drop Pad B) Drag Inst direct to DAW, unto bar 5 in song.
Next, hit Generate and Play button in BIAB and repeat process, you get 2 different renditions.
Not RB Multiriff, but sometimes I think it even quicker, particularly if you're going to do your mix in a DAW anyway.

Forgot to mention, if you drop it into "comping lanes" it's a way better option than Realband Audition Multiriff, I swear I can feel myself aging during that process.

@Cerio: Yes, I agree the "snippets" are far from perfect. I generally need to do a little "cut and paste" surgery to make them really work. I usually leave "OK to solo for an extra beat" checked...
