When selecting an instrument from the Select a Prefix F/X for track dialog box (Hi-Q Synth Patch, or MIDI Synth or Audio Plugin), there is the option to Play the instrument to preview what it sounds like. When I click on the Play button in the dialog box, however, I get a message box that says "there is no audio demo available for the file (filename)". It doesn't matter which instrument. I'm using BIAB 2015 Build 414. This function worked when I first updated to 2015 but doesn't work for me now. Is anyone experiencing the same problem?

Hi rpuff, Do you have an Internet connection available? From the help information: The style demos are found in 2 possible places: 1. On your hard drive, in the Data\Style Demos Audio folder of your RealTracks folder (usually c:\bb\RealTracks\Data\Style Demos Audio (some of the demos are included on disk, but to save space not all of them are included). 2. and on the Internet, at www.pgmusic.com (all of the demos are there). When you demo a style, the program will play the version on disk if available; otherwise will play from the Internet. This all takes place very quickly, and inside the control, so no external browser is launched. Note: You need Windows Media Player version 9 or higher for this feature to work (this comes with Windows, so you very likely have it). HTH

Thanks but I'm not asking about RealTracks or Style demos; I'm asking about midi instruments demos.

Thanks for the clarification
Do the exact same demos that played before now don't play, or is it possible you are trying different demos this time?

The same demos that played before do not play now. Try this and see what you get:
1. Open any song
2. Right click on any track except Drums
3. In the dropdown box click on Select Hi-Q MIDI Synth patch; you'll get a dialog box labeled Select a Prefix F/X for track and a list of instruments
4. Select any instrument then click the Play button (green arrowhead). If you get a Message box click OK
What happens for you now?
When I do this I get an error message that says "there is no audio demo available for this file". The same thing happens when I click on Select MIDI Synth or Audio Plugin in step 3.
