May I ask this question?
If I open professional Midi files in BIAB, can BIAB suggest the best style for that file?
For example, I like to find Midi files of famous songs and open them in BIAB. Then I can copy the chords and the structure of the songs.
But then I will have to manually look for a style that can match the original Midi style. This can be time-consuming.
Can BIAB suggest the best alternative styles so that I can 'manipulate' the songs further?

Hi fantasyvn, While that's beyond BIAB's ability at this point in time, the filter in StylePicker can help narrow down the options significantly. If you have a fairly recent version of BIAB, simply enter into StylePicker and click on the "Filter" button (#1 on image).  Now make selections for #2 - #6 and click OK. When you exit the filter and return to StylePicker, click on "All Styles" in the category window ...  ... and you'll Stylepicker will give you a list of all those styles that meet your criteria. The filter can also be used to enter the name of a song, artist, or style to help you locate something with potential. There are descriptive notes with this info for each BIAB style, and these notes are searchable by the filter.
