Joanne asked me to do my version of Fancy Underwear that will be included on her upcoming collaborative album. Lyrics are on Youtube. It was great fun doing the song, the video I found hard as my mind ran wild for a while.  Thankfully her original video fitted so well so needed only a slight adjustment  Thank you Joanne for thinking of me and giving me the privilege to be part of your wonderful project. I hope you all enjoy the song and video. RealTracks in song: ~1847:Bass, Electric, CountryBoogieArp Sw 140 RealTracks in song: ~961:Guitar, Acoustic, Rhythm CountryBoogieOpen Sw 140 RealTracks in song: ~373:Guitar, Acoustic, Strumming Hank Sw 165 RealTracks in song: 1990:Piano, Acoustic, Rhythm 40s Boogie Sw 160 RealTracks in song: ~823:Guitar, Acoustic, Fingerpicking Country Waltz Sw 140 RealDrums in Song: NewOrleansBoogie^01-a:Snare, HiHat , b:Snare, Ride RealDrums in Song: UrbanPop128Shopping^1-a:KckClp, b:Kck I used Joanne's original vocals, and harmonies, in the choruses but transposed down a tone, in BIAB, from the original . Then time shifted forward a smidge (40ms) and each line time shrunk an even smaller but random smidge to fit my vocals. In FL Studio I added claps, kik drum and 2nd snare. Last 2 taken from the Nashville 8's RD. Solo is me with EMU Proteus Free concert piano. Again, thank you Joanne, enjoy Alyn

Noel, floyd, Guenter, Rob and Anne-Marie, Charlie, Janice and Bud,Lawrence, Bob, Richmac, David and Greg, Joanne suggested I do this song and boy did I have fun and it couldn't have come at a better time also as sad events took over the extended gibbo family. Yes Rob and Anne Marie it is a great privilege to be part Joanne's project and a wonderful opportunity for me to lower the tone BUT I can't get the song out of my head now!!!and it's time to take off my fancy underwear now!!! I loved this song when Joanne first posted it, and you have done a great job on it Alyn, seems no end to your talents, now must be the most productive period of your musical life me thinks!

Alyn - You did the most wonderful job with this song. I love it. It fits you like a hand in a glove and I love the fact that you "Gibsonized" it. It makes it so much fun.
Alyn is the only artist on this project that I did actually "select" a song for. He asked me to choose because he said he was very bad at making decisions (but he is definitely not bad at making a song SHINE!).
All the other artists selected their own songs to cover. This has in itself been quite wonderful because without exception everybody has selected songs that suit their particular styles.
Thank you to everybody that is involved in this. (And may there be many more like it!)
