A friend of mine got upset because he ended up with scrambled lyrics in some KAR/MID files after I edited them or inserted lead-ins. The solution, once I found it, is rather simple:
(1) [Window] - [New] - [Event List]
(2) Delete any Lyric events that occur at 1:01:000 (especially the "@" character)
