I am having a problem figuring out how to notate music with notes smaller than 1/16 th notes. I know there is a way to do this but i haven't been able to find it. Can anyone point me to a solution for this? Howard

If you do an Edit, Expand (duration by 2) and then enter 16th notes, then do Edit, Reduce (duration by 2), you will find you have what sounds like 32nd notes. They will not display correctly but they will sound correct. So, if it's notation you want as the final product, I'm not sure how to do it. Much the same will occur if you create a note, and then another close by (ignoring the warning), and then edit that second note's start time manually (right-click).

Right click over the beat in the bottom of the brown section and enter the number of notes you want. More than 6 gets a little too crowded. Later, Ray
Sorry, it's in editable notation. Click the eighth note in the task bar, then put the mouse on the third white box (I think) and click on it.

I checked and yeah, can't find it either, but yeah I am just a rookie. The option is for sure available in the pianoroll editor though.

Yep, it can look like a mess. One tip is to do Options, Preferences, Notation and reduce the number of bars per screen.
Also, it wasn't that long ago that BIAB added the warning for placing notes too close together.

Ah great! But still the notation does not show the correct note lengths still...pity...

Go to the Notation window <CTRL><W>
right click on the time line and you get a Beat Resolution Dialog. You can put in a number between 1 and 34 to sub-divid the beat. You may one to set the display to show only one bar per screen, becuase as noted things get a bit crowded.
do a search in the help on "Beat Resolution" and you will get a few more details
