Hi, I'm new to this forum. Can anyone tell me the quality of the recordings that the RealBand tracks are recorded at? Where can I find any printed specs as to the overall quality of the whole "band in a box" product?

HI airman!
The standard BIAB/RB package contains RealTracks as .wma format, derived from original 16/44.1 wav file recordings.
Most can use the standard package, but there is also available the "Audiophile" version, which contains the original wav format files, no compression. It costs more and comes on a much larger hard drive, of course.
Quality of MIDI sounds is limited only by your own MIDI synth/sampler.

Have you not listened to the sample tracks on the PG home page, yet? You cannot tell it from studio quality CD recordings of real musicians. The product is top notch, as is customer support. If you have a high quality MIDI synth, and use some of the Real Tracks, you will be very pleased.
